Grad Party OOTD

I've been a busy little bee! Last night, I decided to paint my office on a whim. It looks SO much better! I will post some before and after pictures soon. I was up until 3 in the morning organizing/moving stuff around/etc...

This morning, I went shopping for graduation gifts for the 3 seniors in my cheer team. I just got back from going to their grad parties and this is what I wore:

I bought this cute little dress at Francesca's Collection a long time ago. I forgot I had it until today! I love it when I find surprises in my closet :)

For the rest of the weekend, we are just working on cleaning/organizing the house/yard (fun, right?). My hubs best friend just got in town so we are going out with him and his girl friend tomorrow night. 

Next weekend is my hubs 10 year reunion, so we will most likely go shopping (!!!) for some reunion outfits :)

Finally Dress Season OOTD

I bought this dress about a month ago, but with our series of wacky weather I haven't been able to wear it until today. I love this dress! The colors are great and it just shouts "Summer is Here"!

Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale!

I was like a little kid on Christmas Eve last night. I dreamt about all of the possible items from the Nordstrom sale that would be joining my wardrobe. I did come home with some winners (including a couple of Weekend Wants item from two weeks ago!) I have a Nordies card and couldn't pass up the double points :)

What to do with my Home Office?

I work out of my home office, but never seem to work in the "office". I always have my laptop downstairs in the living room with billions of files, scrap paper galore with phone messages and a really annoyed/ing husband (he frequently works at home as well). I like quiet. He likes to watch action movies when he works. I like all the blinds open. Hubby likes to work in dungeon like conditions. So this weekend, I thought it was time to begin the transformation process of our office into a, well, office.  We moved his desk that he never uses (which really cramped the already small room) to the basement. This really opened up the room. The room DESPERATELY needs to be painted. It was a nursery before we moved in and the paint scheme is a little overboard for my taste.  Here are some pictures of the office now. WARNING: It is extremely messy!

I will admit, our living room looks like an actual living room now with all of my work stuff strewn about. I can't wait to see the finished product! What do you all think I should do? Paint color ideas? Additional Furniture? Entertain me :)

Pretty in Pink OOTD

This morning was our senior farewell assembly at the school. It was so sad to see the seniors leave :) I am going to miss them so much! It was an early morning though... I went to sleep around 2 and got up around 5:30. I am feeling the effects now. So could use a nap- but I won't be done with work until around 10/11 tonight :(

I just bought my first pair of printed shorts and I love them! It is gorgeous outside and I was so excited to break out some shorts for the 2nd time this week. No snow in this forecast!

Don't mind the cat's legs... She does this every day!

In the Navy OOTD

Just finished another long day of work. Its good to be in my PJs catching up on my blog. Tomorrow is the senior exit assembly at the school I coach at and I promised my kiddos (before I was so tired) that I would go. Its at 720 am ::sigh::. But I will miss my seniors from this year dearly and it will be a very sad day.

I've had an obsession with this color combo lately and I don't know why! I just kinda came up with this as once again I am way behind on laundry. Thank god I was or I would have never paired this together...

Sorry it's been a few days since my last post. It's picked up again at work and I've been pulling all nighters again. I did however get to break out the shorts!
