Happy Halloween Readers!

I can't even begin to tell you the whirlwind of a week it's been! With my trip to Michigan, getting my cheer team ready for their first cheer competition and a few other miscellaneous things on my plate, it's been quite a week! I'm spending my Sunday sitting on the couch (still in my PJs) watching the Halloween movie marathon. What did you do or are you doing for Halloween? Did you dress up? I can't believe tomorrow is NOVEMBER already!?!

I'm back!

I just got back from Michigan yesterday. It sure was nice to get away from the "real" world for a while. I got to see my family and also the gorgeous fall foliage. The weather was nice the first few days, but it got extremely windy and cold on Tuesday. In fact, there were some all time records in terms of wind strength. It was scary. I did manage to get some pictures of my trip though!

I told you all before I left that I would share my new purchases with you. I ended up taking the Frye boots back (they weren't made for walkin') and got something even better. TWO somethings! Lately, I've been obsessed with Rebecca Minkoff bags and I picked up a MAC Clutch in dark gray as well as a 5 Zip MAC clutch in Concord. I LOVE these bags!

Unfortunately, aside from Weekend Wants, this will be my last post of the week since I have a pretty jam packed schedule between cheer practices, football games and enjoying some social time. Since I did in fact reach over 200 followers I will have a giveaway. Bear with me a few days as I have some catch up to do with work/Halloween stuff/etc... I should have the giveaway up by Monday! You won't be disappointed. It will be GOOD!!!

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

I will be taking a mini vacay to Michigan tomorrow to visit my family! I will be back to "blogger land" on Wednesday, October 27th!

I have some new purchases to share with you all upon my return! I ended up taking the Frye boots back and got something even better :)

Are these boots made for keepin'?

Yeah, another busy week. Excuses, excuses but I've really been gone from 9-9 everyday. On Saturday, I'm going to Michigan for a few days to go see my family! I am so excited to get away for a while. I definitely need the rest!

Last week, I made a huge return of a ton of items in my closet with tags that I knew I would never wear (gotta love Nordstrom's return policy)! Since I had a huge credit, I decided to splurge and get some Frye boots that were on my Weekend Wants a couple of weeks ago. I always have to justify each "huge" purchase since I rarely have the budget to ever buy anything like this. In fact, I have NEVER in my entire life spent this much on a pair of shoes/boots. I would love your opinions!

NWT Rebecca Minkoff MAC for Sale!

I've had a Rebecca Minkoff MAC on my wishlist for quite some time, and since I made my year end sales goal at my job, I am rewarding myself with one! I wasn't sure which color I wanted between the Black and Electric Blue, so I ordered both. I decided to hold on to the Black MAC.

I am selling this for $275 shipped to the US (including insurance and PayPal fees). This is brand spanking new, literally received it yesterday. It still has all of the tags, stuffing and dustbag.

Just the way you are...

Totally love this song by Bruno Mars (it's playing right now) hence the name of today's post :) Another week almost over (thankfully). Work has been a little stressful, not gonna lie. It shouldn't be since I made my year end quota, but whatever :/ I need a dose of retail therapy pretty soon! A few things in my recent Weekend Wants posts may soon become Weekend realities...If I come home with anything new, I'll be sure to do some reviews!

I love the smell of rain in the morning...

This morning, I woke up to the most serene sound of rain drops on my window. It must have been pretty relaxing seeing as how I slept in until 9:45. Ooops :/

I do love that fall is finally here though. I've been waiting for cardigan and boot season too patiently. I also love how beautiful the trees are this time of year, hot apple cider, corn mazes, Halloween decor around the house, costume shopping, pumpkin carving, Thanksgiving time... I just LOVE fall! What do you look forward to the most?

I picked up this top during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and just found it in my closet today. I love it when I find surprises!

I love my husband!

After an insane week of work, my husband decided to have a "Pamper my Wife" day yesterday. I woke up to breakfast in bed and a $100 bill to go to a spa and get a treatment of choice! I went and got a much needed facial and came home to a clean house. That's not all... He took me out to the Melting Pot for dinner too! I appreciate him so much and am so lucky to have such a caring husband!

It is officially fall in Colorado meaning I can break out the fall clothes! Here is what I wore to dinner last night:

Weekend Wants - October 11th

Two busy weeks down and one more to go! This week was our homecoming week at the high school I coach at which meant an event every day and night! Today, I woke up at 9:30, watched a movie and then took at nap from 3-730. I needed to catch up on sleep! Its good to be blogging again! Especially since it's Weekend Wants (my favorite post every week!). I love me some online retail therapy- even if I don't buy anything!
